Focus is on the destruction of the Jews of Europe by Nazi Germany. Issues are historically grounded, and include works of literature, social sciences, philosophy, and film. Co-taught by Murray Baumgarten and Peter Kenez, holocaust survivors and UC Santa Cruz emeriti.
