Professor Dorian Bell awarded Malcolm Bowie Prize

Prof. Dorian BellProfessor Dorian Bell has been awarded the Malcolm Bowie Prize for the best article in French studies published in 2009 by an early- career scholar. This prize is given by the Society for French Studies; the article is “The Jew as Model: Anti-Semitism, Aesthetics, and Epistemology in the Goncourt Brothers’ Manette Salomon,” Modern Language Notes 124: 4 (2009): 825-47.
